Beast Feast: Thanksgiving 2010!!!

I have a pretty amazing family. We have a very traditional Thanksgiving every year, but this year was different. My cousin Sarah teaches English in South Korea, and she has been gone since January. (If you get a chance, check out her blog here, she tells some hilarious stories about her students, and talks about her amazing world travels!) My family is SO excited to see her, because she is coming home for a late Thanksgiving on Saturday!!! So rather than letting Sarah miss our celebration this year, we decided to celebrate twice. My Dad is a hunter, and each year he brings us something yummy to BBQ! Instead of hogging all the meat we got this year, we decided to have a "beast feast" and eat Elk, Deer, and Antelope along with home fried potatoes and some other "redneck " dishes. We had an awesome time just enjoying eachother's company and being Thankful for all the blessings we received this year. I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and that you took some time to reflect on all your blessings too!

Hunley Ladies.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Hunley girls. They are such a sweet and talented family, and they have a lot of fun together. I loved photographing them, and they were such troopers smiling and laughing despite the cold weather and disappearing light!
Thank you for choosing me as your photographer ladies! I loved photographing you, and I'm so glad to know such a sweet family. God Bless! Xoxo.

Congratulations 34th Academy!

I was lucky enough to go to my dear friend Nick's Fire Academy Graduation Today. He has been studying so hard, and I know that he will be a great fireman, just like his Dad. I snapped some photos during the graduation and afterward, and I thought I would share!
Congrats Nick, and the 34th Academy! :)

Nick's dad is an instructor for the Academy, he's the one looking toward the camera. :)

During the guest speakers speech, all of a sudden Usher's "Yeah" started playing. It had all of the guys laughing and some were even a little embarrassed!

EPP Bootcamp!

In September I had the opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by the awesome Edmund Prieto. We started the day talking about photography, from business and shooting to editing, and ended up talking about life and Mr. T over dinner ! I learned so much that day, and my photography butt was definitely kicked! :)
During the workshop, we did a photoshoot of the lovely/sassy Jessica Pressley and her handsome man Tim! Thank you for being such wonderful models. And thank you Edmund for everything, I truly appreciate everything you taught me!

Day 4: Fried Ice Cream & Unconditional Love.

I am thankful for busy days that end with Fried Ice Cream and fun conversations. I  am thankful to have people who love me, no matter what, and I am thankful to have people to tell me that sometimes it's okay to take break. So that is what I'm going to do. Tonight I'm going to relax and try to sleep in a bit tomorrow. Wake up slow and spend some time in The Word. Get a little refreshed, then get to some serious editing!
Take time to enjoy the little things in life!
